May programs are in bloom at the Bridgewater Library!


Just to name a few-

On Tuesday, May 7th at 7 pm, the Huntington Learning Center will present a free one hour exam prep workshop for students (and their parents/guardians) in grades 9-12.  The workshop will review strategies to improve test scores, how to prepare for college admissions, information about the SAT and ACT, and more.

Our Open Mic Night is on Thursday, May 9th from 6:45-8:30pm, please help support local artists and musicians – you don’t need to be an artist to enjoy our Open Mic Night!

There will be a Friends concert on Friday, May 10th at 7:30 pm featuring the talented Jeanette Fang on the piano.

The Ninth Annual Car Show will take place on Saturday, May 11th starting at noon, be sure to stop by this free family event and vote for your favorite vehicle. The rain date is set for May 25th.

The Children's Department continues its ever-popular Tail Waggin' Tutors therapy dog program in May, holding sessions from 4-5pm on May 13, 16, and 30.  Each child gets the chance to practice their reading skills by reading to one of our two therapy dogs.  Sign ups for these sessions must be done in-person or over the phone.

The popular Friends Book Sale starts on Wednesday, May 15th (pre-sale fee this day only) and ends on May 19th. Something for everyone at reasonable prices!

The Bridgewater Garden Club will present "The Wonderful World of Worms" to children ages 5+ on Thursday, May 23rd from 4:30-5:30pm, where kids will learn about composting, how worms play a vital role in the world, and participate in hands-on experiments!
