The Warren Twp Library hosts:

The Red-Headed League of Jersey: A Sherlock Holmes Society
Wednesday, May 23 at 7 pm

Attention all Sherlock Holmes fans! Meet Steve and Linda Morris, co-secretaries of the Red-Headed League of Jersey, a Sherlock Holmes Society.

The Red-Headed League of Jersey is a society of Sherlock Holmes aficionados that meets twice a year at Madeline's restaurant in Bound Brook, NJ. It is named after one of the 56 short stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle about the world-famous consulting detective and his assistant, Dr. John H. Watson. Meetings usually consist of a presentation on a Sherlockian theme or a related topic, followed by a quiz on one of the Sherlock Holmes tales. New members and guests are always welcome and red hair is not required for attendance. The Red-Headed League of Jersey is one of many scion societies of The Baker Street Irregulars, the leading American Sherlockian organization. The League was founded in November 1976 and formerly met at the Union Hotel in Flemington.
