SCLS is the Cool Place to Be!

With temperatures projected to be in the mid to high 90s today (Monday) through Saturday, July 15-20, Somerset County residents are invited and encouraged to enjoy the coolness of their local library.

“Nine branches of the Somerset County Library System (SCLS) are air-conditioned and open during the hottest hours of the day,” said Brian Auger, library director. “Even a few hours spent in air conditioning can help your body stay cooler when you go back into the heat. The library is a great place to relax, study, read a book or magazine, check out the summer reading program, enjoy programs or surf the Internet.”

The Somerset County Library System has branches in Bridgewater, Bound Brook, Hillsborough, Manville, at the Mary Jacobs Library in Rocky Hill, North Plainfield, Peapack & Gladstone, Somerville (currently closed for renovations), Warren Township and Watchung.
