SCLS is the Cool Place to Be!

Bridgewater, NJ.  June 28, 2012. –  With temperatures projected to be in the mid to high 90s Thursday through Monday, Somerset County residents are invited and encouraged to enjoy the coolness of their local library.

“All nine – ten as of Monday - branches of the Somerset County Library System (SCLS) are air-conditioned and open during the hottest hours of the day,” said Brian Auger, library director. “Even a few hours spent in air conditioning can help your body stay cooler when you go back into the heat. The library is a great place to relax, study, read a book or magazine, check out the summer reading program, enjoy programs or surf the Internet.”

Patrons with further questions can call SCLS at (908) 526-4016 or visit the website at http://www.sclsnj.org for each branch’s hours. The Somerset County Library System has branches in Bridgewater, Bound Brook, Hillsborough, at the Mary Jacobs Library in Rocky Hill, North Plainfield, Peapack & Gladstone, Somerville, Warren Township and Watchung.  Manville Public Library becomes a part of SCLS on July 1.
