State Library Talking Book & Braille Center Kiosk at the Bridgewater Library

The Bridgewater Library will debut the service during an open house on Thursday, April 21 from 1 – 4 pm.  The "Outspoken Library" kiosk is designed to demonstrate to residents who have impaired vision or a physical disability that makes it difficult to hold a book to see how the audiobook readers work .  Registered users will be able to access over 18,000 downloadable audiobooks and 42 magazines from the National Library Services Braille and Audio Reading Program from home.  Bridgewater Library staff will be available to demonstrate the kiosk, explain a patron's eligibility, and assist with the application process.  For more information about the service, Click Here.
