UPDATED: SCLS Closures and Delayed Opens Due to Weather

Due to snow causing slick road and sidewalk conditions several branches of the Somerset County Library System (SCLS) are closed, early closings or have delayed openings.

The following SCLS branches are closed today:
• Bridgewater Library
• Manville Public Library
• Peapack & Gladstone Library
• Watchung Library
• Mary Jacobs Library in Rocky Hill

The following library will close at 12 noon today:
• Hillsborough Library

The following SCLS branches will open at 12 noon today:
• Bound Brook Memorial Library

The following branch will open at 1 pm today:
• North Plainfield Library

Watchung Library Closed Friday Afternoon

Bridgewater, NJ.  September 14, 2012. –  The Watchung Library is closed for the remainder of today, Friday, September 14, 2012.  An electrical power issue has forced the closure of the branch building.  Located at 12 Stirling Road in Watchung, NJ, repairs are expected to be completed today.  The library is due to re-open tomorrow, Saturday, September 19 at 10 am.
