Historian John C. Smith presents a
lecture on History of Peapack Gladstone

at the Great Hall, St. Luke's Church, Peapack
 

John C. Smith, the Chairman of the Peapack Gladstone Historic Preservation Commission will speak at 2:00 pm on January 14th at St. Luke's Church, Peapack.  The lecture will cover the History of Peapack Gladstone since 1701 when the town was first settled, and the events that led up to the borough's founding.

This lecture is the first in a series, part of the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Peapack & Gladstone, and is sponsored by the Peapack & Gladstone Library, part of the Somerset County Library System. The town will celebrate its first 100 years since it separated from the township of Bedminster and was incorporated into it's own township on April 23^rd, 2012.
