The Bound Brook Library presents...Career Assessment Workshop

Thursday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m.


Are you changing careers?  Or looking for something different?  Sometimes a career change is desired or necessary. This session focuses on the steps to follow when changing careers. It includes worksheets, assessments and the tools to get started.

Presented by Nancy Anderson of Blackbird Training Associates LLC, a local training consulting organization. Nancy has over 25 years experience working in the training and Human Resources departments of Fortune 100 Companies.

The Bound Brook Library presents... two opportunities for knitters and crocheters of all skill levels

New members are always welcome. 

Adults Beginning Knitting and Crocheting
Meets Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Knitting and crocheting are not just for doilies and scarves anymore! Karen our resident knitter and crocheter will help you learn the basics on Wednesdays from 3-5 pm in the upstairs meeting room.  Bring your practice yarn, and crochet hooks or knitting needles.  For new learners Karen recommends a size I hook or size 10.  Worsted weight yarn, such as Red Heart Super Saver (in a fairly light, solid color) is a good practice yarn.  These sessions are free and open to the public.  No registration is required.

The Bridgewater Library presents Civil War Women: Soldiers and Spies

The program will be held on March 1 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in Meeting Rooms ABC.  Presented by Trish Chambers Productions.  Refreshments will be served.

This presentation addresses those women who chose to become soldiers and spies during the Civil War.  See how their ingenuity helped drive them to perform successfully.

The Bridgewater Library presents "Believe in Our Community".

The Bridgewater Library presents "Believe in Our Community". This is the first in a series of programs associated with Building Common Ground. This series  is funded by a grant from the Fetzer Institute to the American Library Association.

Believe in Our Community will be presented by Christopher Taylor, PhD. on Saturday, February 25th at 2:00 pm.

No registration is required. Refreshments will be served.

Bridgewater Library presents Pitchapalooza!

Got a great idea for a book?  Want to learn how to get it published?  Then on March 1st @ 7pm, join us at the Bridgewater Library for Pitchapalooza!

From Miami to Hollywood, Cape Cod to Santa Cruz, Pitchapalooza has become the American Idol for books (only without Steven Tyler). Writers get one minute - and only one minute - to pitch their books!  In the last month, three writers have received publishing deals as a result of participating in Pitchapalooza. Pitchapalooza is ninety minutes.
