Carol's Creative Chocolatez

Just in time for Valentine’s Day! If you love chocolate (and who doesn’t!) join us for this fun and tasty presentation.  Carol Freedman, an award winning chocolatier, will discuss the history of chocolate and talk about where it comes from, where it grows, and how it is processed into what we call 'chocolate.'  Learn the differences between dark, milk, and white chocolate.  Carol will also be making some delicious chocolate nut bark and other delectable delights that attendees will be able to sample.  Some of Carol’s award winning edible chocolate paintings will be on display.  Three lucky attendees will take home a small chocolate door prize.

How to use LinkedIn to better your Business Prospects @ Warren Library

On the heels of a very successful Speed Networking event at the Library in the fall of 2012, the Warren Twp Library is hosting a yearlong series of programs to facilitate learning and encourage networking among the Warren Township business community. The Warren Twp Library is pleased to announce the first event on Monday, February 4th (snow date February 11th) at 6:30 pm to learn “How to use LinkedIn to better your Business Prospects”. Sue Samiljan, LinkedIn account executive for the Greater New York City area, will be joined by executive recruiter Gretchen Gunn to address topics related to LinkedIn of interest to the business community.

The Bridgewater Library features a monthly ESL program

The Bridgewater Library, 1 Vogt Drive, Bridgewater, NJ, introduces a new monthly English Conversation Group (ESL).

This is an opportunity to practice speaking English in a casual setting. Basic English skills are required, as is registration. The instructor is Mythri Menon; she is a Speech Language Pathologist and an English tutor since 1990. She has coordinated a similar conversation group in Pennsylvania for eight years.
